OoTD - Day and Night!

Denim capris are great for the summer and are easy to wear both day and night.
Nothing could be more comfortable than a colourful tank and a pair of flip flops.
Great for lazing around the house, running errands, etc.
But for a night of Wine and Tapas @ Lemon Tree I thought something a little dressier while still comfortable was appropriate.
I'm wearing a...
Brown, blue, lime green, yellow & white top
Denim capris
Caramel heels from New Look

Making A Statement!

(Photo from Company Magazine - High street Edition)
I'm loving the statement jewelry! Especially the "Believe" and "Nerd" chains.
My favourite at the moment, "Love" (is all you need), right? *wink*
I wear this everywhere.
From Primark less than $4.
From TopShop less than $20.
Everyone should have a little whimsy in their life. This multi-strand chain reminds me to NEVER STOP DREAMING!
(FYI: I wouldn't usually wear this chain with such a busy top. It was just for the picture.)

What statement are you making?

Bored of Basic Nude!

Yesterday I painted my nails with OPI's Sand in My Suit...
and although I like the color it fell a little flat for me.
Luck would have it that I happened across Beauty & The Blog who was having the same problem!
She decided to spice her nails up with some simple patterns and I was inspired to do the same.
Using my Sally Hansen polish in Natural White & Nails inc. London polish in Shoreditch, I added stripes, dots and flowers to my nails. Now I absolutely LOVE THEM! The nude base coat keeps the look from being overly showy, while the patterns are fun and fresh!

Thanks again Michelle! Check out her blog!

Makeup Look & OoTD -> Mad Men!

The inspiration for my look today is Joan Harris, a character on the AMC television series Mad Men. As Office Manager and resident "Queen Bee" the best way to describe her look is "pristine".
Introducing Joan

Here are the products I used.
Revlon PhotoReady Foundation
Natural Collection loose powder
L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara
Revlon Liquid Liner
L'Oreal Lipstick in Pink Passion
Natural Collection Lipgloss in Turkish Delight

OoTD (Loving the 60's secretarial look!)
Black Bandeau dress from Forever21
Pink Sweater from H&M
A Single String of Pearls
Gold Buckle Black Belt from Primark
Black Heels by Anne Klein

What I love about Joan's look is that it carefully treads the line between poised and sexy. She always creates silhouettes that accentuate the female form without showing too much skin. Her style reaffirms the character's strongest traits, very much in control without being overly aggressive.

The look has an overall smooth complexion, natural eye with a slight wing tipped liner, and a bright pink lip.

Coordinating nail color in Sunrise Sensation by Colorama (Maybelline) completes the look.

While every hair is in place when Joan attends work functions, for more social occasions she lets her hair down.

Well that was fun. Hope you liked it! Bye! =)

OoTD (Outfit of the Day) - White Tunic Top 3 Different Ways!

I was headed to the beach when I decided to do a little OoTD. Hope you like it!
Mix bright whites with warm caramels for a chic look!
White tunic top
Dark denim capris
Caramel heels & leather handbag
Gold jewelry to accessorize
Wide band gold butterfly bracelet.
Investing in stylish basics will always make your wardrobe more versatile.
I have this tunic in red as well. If you find something that compliments you, get it in a few different colors.
Try light denim shorts for a more casual look.
Choose clothing that flatters or highlights your best features. I love showing off one of my best features, my legs!
Last but not least, wear it alone as a cover-up to the beach or a pool party!
You'll look great whether you're in the water or just lounging around.
Finally made it to the beach!
Ahh there's nothing like a beautiful Bermuda day!
 Bye guys! =)

Gibbons Fashion Show!

Saturday, May 22nd, Gibbons Company hosted an in-store event showcasing some of their latest summer styles. Here are a few of the outfits I loved!
Jumpsuit, playsuit, romper, whatever you want to call it, this little number is everywhere. This throwback has made a comeback in a huge way!
Pair chinos with a floral top for a cool casual look.
You already know I love a floral dress! =)
Quintessential Bermuda Style at it's best! I love men in pink!
This classic look is hard to do wrong. Perfect for a first date! If you are feeling especially bold, throw on a bright pair of heels in red or yellow!
The key item to achieving this look is the long blouse. Switch out the dark blazer for a lighter one and try colored shorts to personalize the look.
I really enjoyed the show and can't wait for the next! They even had snacks!

...and across the street @ Brown & Co. Sabor Dance School was putting on a little demonstration.
Here members of Sabor teach customers a dance called Diski!

Check Out Sabor Dance School for a complete list of classes and events!
